This great font is inspired by computing machines IBM Harvard – as the author describes “… Mark 1, an electromechanical computer read its instructions from a 24-channel punched paper tape and executed the current instruction and then read in the next one. It had no conditional branch instruction. The original concept was presented to IBM by Howard Aiken in November 1937. ”

The author says he got inspired while playing with Illustrator blend tool and gradients, and the result was this cool and peculiar type.
Softa typography it’s funny and the gradients create an interesting perspective effect that will look good for short sentences, headlines, flyers, posters and other context projects that your imagination would create.

This week I started using the new Adobe Experience Design (XD) and I have to say I am quite impressed with it. Still in a Beta version, if we compare to sketch, some important features are still missing, but in generally the ones available for the moment are enough to start a project and considering the collaborative options already working plus the prototype features this tool finally becomes a good option to Sketch.
